This book is quite biased towards one type of labour/birth but I think it's a great reminder of how powerful our mind can be!
The Baby Book
By William Sears M.D.
This book is LARGE but it has information from a medical doctor about your baby from birth to two, from feeding, sleeping, development, common illnesses, and even potty training!
The Birth Partner
By Penny Simkin
This is a great book for dads or partners, and even the person giving labour to read before the big day. It has information on the signs of labour, the stages of labour, and comfort measures.
What you Don't Expect When You're Expecting
By Brandie Nemchenko
This book says it how it really is, and takes a look at how you thought it would be vs. how it really is, how to expand your care network and who should be included, and the "villians' of pregnancy and how to deal with them.
